New Accounts

Switching to a Summit Bank account has never been easier; just use the instructions and forms located below.

  1. Open your new account using the Personal Account Application form. This form can be completed online, then you may print the application and either bring it to any branch or mail it with the required information. Note: Please do not send information by e-mail. Please see this website for the credit card merchant authorization forms.

  2. Stop using your old account. Let all of your checks clear. Destroy any unused checks, ATM and Debit cards and deposit slips.
  3. Move any Direct Deposits to your new account using the Direct Deposit Change Request Form.
  4. Move any Automatic Payments to your new account using the Automatic Payment Change Request form.
  5. Close your old account after all Direct Deposits and Automatic payments have been changed. Use the Close Account Request form to send to your old bank.
